INS Ecosystems is introducing the first global decentralized ecosystem directly connecting grocery manufacturers and consumers through blockchain technology. Consumers can choose what manufactures they wish to deal with rather than be limited to the grocery chains currently in charge of the supply. INS does not cut out the middleman, they replace them with up to date technology that was not possible prior to blockchain and smart contracts.
The aim of INS is to eliminate the abuses of buying power currently by retailers, while simultaneously increasing choices for consumers. With the blockchain it will be possible to add thousands of suppliers including local farmers that don’t fit the current retail model. Consumer choice will increase, prices will go down, and suppliers can reach more customers.
Supply chain inefficiencies are minimized, and trade promotions that are now grossly ineffective will be targeted with a more personalized touch. The goal will not be maximizing the profits of select few chains, but will be providing products that consumers want efficiently and at a lower cost.
Thousands of suppliers have already expressed interest in this newly updated model designed with consumers in mind.
