Cernach is the Head of PR at AptosLaunchToken, and he has been in crypto for over two years after a fairly long career in science (up to running my own research lab). His experience in crypto is mostly as a trader and investor, as well as forming a 500 scholar P2E guild before taking up this position.

Q: Can you please give a brief intro of AptosLaunch?
Cernach: AptosLaunch is the first decentralized launchpad on the Aptos Network. With Aptos building the safest and most scalable Layer 1 blockchain for the next billion users, AptosLaunch is engineered from the ground up to empower Aptos project owners (both Token & NFT) by offering a strategized token launch experience with a customized launch model, time period, accepted token types and auction algorithms. AptosLaunch only succeeds if our launchpad projects succeed, which is why we implement a robust & exhaustive vetting procedure before accepting projects to launch with us.
Our team had extensive experience working in a number of large DAOs and DAO funds on various chains before we formed AptosLaunch. These chains include ETH, Avax, and BSC.
Our team has a total of 7 team members. We come from diverse backgrounds, with some of our team having worked in exchanges (licensed), as VCs, and angel investors, as well as the previously mentioned DAOs. We take pride in generating excellent secure tech as well as establishing and building community engagement.
Also, we understand participating in a launchpad IDO can be a high-risk/high-reward endeavor; therefore, we have innovated an insurance feature in order to safeguard investors' principal capital, tailoring it to everyone's risk appetite.
Q: Why did you guys choose to develop on Aptos?
Cernach: Aptos uses the Move programming language. From our experience, this language is able to handle a range of unique needs of developers, it's more secure than other programming languages, and developers can define custom resources that can't be copied or discarded, making it much more difficult for malicious entities to control the Aptos blockchain.
The last year or two in the crypto space has shown us that security is a fundamental necessity for blockchains to flourish in the future. We feel that as Aptos is the most secure blockchain to use, it is very well positioned to become a major player, and we wanted to be a part of making this happen.
In addition, when you consider the major attributes of a successful blockchain, namely: usability, performance, reliability, and scalability, the Aptos blockchain is very competitive. Aptos is faster than Ethereum (160k TPS compared to Ethereum's sluggish 10 TPS), and Aptos is much more reliable than Solana (as highlighted by Solana's notable outages and downgrades since its launch). We feel that both Avalanche and Aptos offer very impressive performance, but what the Aptos blockchain excels in is usability. The prohibitively high gas fees of Avalanche relative to Aptos make Aptos a much more user-friendly option. Taken together, Aptos is very competitive against the top blockchains around, and we are confident that Aptos will be the layer 1 to watch during this next bull.
Q: Sui vs. Aptos? Will you build on Sui, too, or focus on Aptos?
Cernach: All the terms can be difficult at the start and can seem overwhelming! As many of us may know, Sui and Aptos are both ex-meta, so they both have great tech and possess excellent social media experience that helps with community building. However, from what we have observed and through discussions with various builders and developers, Aptos has the upper hand right now. Having said that, we are not ruling out bridging ALT to SUI in the future, and since they are both built on MOVE, going cross-chain to include SUI should be an easier task than with others.
Q: What are the main setbacks AptosLaunch will face, and how is AptosLaunch planning to face those challenges and provide confidence to the community?
Cernach: One of the most recurring questions that we have had from our community is on the potential of the Aptos chain itself as well as the legitimacy of the projects launching on our launchpad. In order to allay any doubts within our community, we are taking three approaches to increase the confidence in Aptos and AptosLaunch and ultimately maximize our investors' earning potential.
These are:
1. Continue to educate our community with respect to the huge potential of the Aptos blockchain; it is a new chain within a new ecosystem, so opportunities are limitless but also that there may be teething problems associated with a nascent chain.
2. Implementing our 60 risk metrics vetting procedure to assess each project launching on our launchpad -ensuring proper due diligence is carried out before the projects can launch on our platform.
3. Incorporate an insurance feature within our launchpad - so users can purchase insurance on the projects they participated on our launchpad - allowing users to protect their principal capital.
Q: As I know, strong backing and partnerships in the crypto market might bring huge benefits to new projects. Who are you partnered with?
Cernach: We are currently the largest Aptos Launchpad, with over 80,000 Twitter followers and 84,000 Discord members. We launched in mid-September and very quickly became the No.1 most discussed project on the AptosLabs official forum. We are consistently one of the top communities on the community building website, Crew3.
We have also partnered with 9 of the biggest media partners on Aptos - we held a Demo IDO Competition before our actual IDO, where we raised a total of $15 million, with over 55,000 transactions on the Aptos Devnet in just one week. This could not have happened without these media partners!
So far, we have partnered and integrated with various wallets, Martian, Petra, Pontem, and Crypto.com, onto our launchpad app.
We have successfully used our launchpad facility to raise 1.8 million in funding from our community, which we are very proud of considering the turmoil in crypto, not to mention this bear market we are all in - we feel this goes to show the strength of our community and partners.
That said, we have over 30 projects applying to launch on the launchpad, and we have various VC investors who publicly support us and can be shown on our Twitter. We have also established numerous strategic partnerships with major and upcoming projects on Aptos. As stated previously, one of our major aims is to build up the Aptos ecosystem. We will be hosting an incubator event, Starport, which I can go into in more detail later on but say, but we hope this event will give rise to more partnerships to collaborate in the future!
Q: Can you list 1 killer feature of your project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your platform has that you feel most confident about?
Cernach: We will go deeper with our insurance feature on this!
Currently, in the market, most launchpads/IDO platforms do not have any protection in place to safeguard users' principal capital against volatility when investing in early crypto projects, making it an extremely high-risk activity for IDO participants.
At AptosLaunch, we have engineered an Insurance feature to limit any potential downside and protect the user's principal capital.
For example, if a user purchases in the IDO round of a launchpad project, the user can choose to add a % of invested funds to take out insurance paid in our ALT token. The ALT tokens will then be sent to the AptosLaunch Insurance Fund.
The AptosLaunch Insurance Fund will then cover any potential loss of the user's principal capital for the next 60 days - on the 60th day from the IDO launch. If the TWAP is less than the IDO price, the AptosLaunch Insurance Fund will cover the differences to the user, so the user's principal capital is well protected.
On the other hand, if the project does well, the user's return will be more than sufficient to cover the premium many times over.
Users will be able to buy insurance for all projects launching on AptosLaunch, but insurance costs will vary depending on the risk factors of the projects. The higher the risk of the project, the higher the insurance costs. AptosLaunch will use various built-in proprietary metrics to assess the risks of our launchpad projects.
Q: What is the utility of your $ALT token?
Cernach: AptosLaunchToken ($ALT) is the utility token for the AptosLaunch Ecosystem with utility and governance functions.

Q: What's next on your project? Can you give us some insights of your goals?
Cernach: The immediate goal of the launchpad is to select amazing projects and help them launch and be recognized, maximizing their chances of success. We will continue looking for great projects to launch and conduct proper due diligence to benefit our entire community. As said, we already have a very large community with 80k members, and we aim to keep getting bigger and help our investors succeed.
As previously mentioned, we will be launching an incubation program very soon - as we call it the ‘AptosLaunch Spaceport’ where we will introduce the most promising Aptos projects to our community and provide financial, technical, and legal advice to the winning projects.
As for the long term, so much can happen, and no one can say for sure what will happen.
But one thing for sure is we will continue to have our all-star team that will be able to recognize opportunities and have the experience, resources, and tools to execute them. Ideas can be copied, but execution cannot, and this is where our team excels at.
We are a quick team with respect to racking up achievements and being able to change to market conditions or direction. I think our work from the last couple of months speaks for itself - we’ve worked hard to be the largest launchpad on Aptos and are proud of it, and of course will continue to always be the first mover!

Q: What is the mechanism behind choosing a project?
Cernach: We have selected over 60 parameters drawing on our team's wealth of experience in trading and venture capitalist investing. This gives us a really robust vetting procedure which makes our projects SAFU!
Q: When will your tokens be listed on the exchange, and which exchanges do you plan to list on in the future?
Cernach: Most importantly, we are on KuCoin, and we have plans to launch on others in the near future, but we are very content where we are now.
Q: Will you integrate your platform with more Chains in the future?
Cernach: As our name suggests, we are focusing on Aptos. We very much may well launch on others such as SUI and others where we have previous experience, but I guess the final decision will be our DAO voting, so buy and HODL, and you will have a say in our bright future!
Q: Can you explain how your tokenomics distribution is? How many tokens will be minted? And how many tokens will be locked by the team?

Q: Aptos is a growing ecosystem; what is your difference from other launchpads?
Cernach: I think the tech sets it above most other chains, and this may be because of the MOVE language, which was explicitly designed for blockchains but overall, I think it's high-security features.
Q: Is your project a community only for English-speaking countries or for users not of other languages?
Cernach: We have Discord with lots of different language channels for our worldwide community to engage, including Vietnamese!
Q: What are the benefits of holding your token as a long-term investment? Can you tell us about the motivation and benefits for investors to keep your token in the long run?
Cernach: You will be able to get allocations for presales of the best projects launching on Aptos, and staking will increase your tokens to increase your value and tier levels for securing the allocations, plus having a say in the future of AptosLaunch.
Q: Is your platform suitable for crypto beginners? Or does it only limited to professional users?
Cernach: We wanted to make our website as simple as possible for users, as this is the best method for maximizing UI. We want it to be as simple as possible so newbies can feel safe in our project selections and be able to use our app without issues.
Q: According to the project's roadmap, what are your most important next priorities?
Cernach: Start launching top-tier projects! This will involve a lot of searching, reviewing, and judging! We also have a number of exciting features we plan to release over the next while, but we can't share them just yet!

Q: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who still need to enter the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space?
Cernach: We will be running a marketing strategy that will target both non-crypto investors and crypto investors, and we feel that changes in market sentiment will be the real driver for non-crypto investors as I feel the next bull run has signs of being very big!
Q: Do you have tutorial videos so we can get to know your project more clearly, or do you have a YouTube channel or something? Can you share it with us?
Cernach: We currently don't have videos made by our community, but this is somewhere that we will be focusing our marketing campaign, with TikTok firmly in our plans.
Q: How many team members do you have? Do they have enough experience in the blockchain field? Do they have any experience working in crypto and non-crypto projects?
