KuCoin hosted an AMA (Ask-Me-Anything) session with the Head of Operations International of the MOBOX (MBOX) Gaming Platform, Ivan, in the KuCoin Exchange Group.

MOBOX is a gaming platform on the BNB Chain that combines the best of DeFi Yield Farming with Gaming NFTs, creating a truly free-to-play and play-to-earn ecosystem. The platform includes LP Farming, NFT Farming, and its own NFT marketplace with over 300 million in trades. The NFTs on the MOBOX platform are interoperable and can be used across all the games on the platform at the same time. MOBOX currently has 4 games that support MOBOX NFTs and the MBOX token for users to enjoy free to play and play to earn games.

Q: What is MOBOX?

Ivan: MOBOX is a gaming platform that combines automated optimized DeFi yield farming and gaming NFTs to create a GameFi metaverse (Gameverse) which we call as MOMOverse.

The MOMOverse is a cross-platform metaverse that can be enjoyed on all devices no matter where you are. Whether creating content or enjoying others' creations, the MOMOverse rewards players, developers, and collectors for their engagement and enjoyment.

In terms of the Gameverse, it consists/will consist of major components, namely:

NFT marketplace: This is a decentralized NFT marketplace to trade, rent and lend MOMO NFTs. MOMOs are what we call our NFTs on the platform. These MOMOs can be used across a variety of MOBOX Games!

MOMOverse: The MOMOverse is a cross-platform metaverse that can be enjoyed on all devices no matter where you are. We have launched this very recently! It will be the house of all current MOBOX games. More in the future! It is still in its early stage, and we will develop this much more!

DAG (Decentralized Autonomous Guild): The DAG enables you to create and organize your guild. Using trustless smart contracts, you will be able to start your MOMO community, share NFT resources, grow your treasury, have fun and earn together. We are still working on the smart contracts for the DAG, but this will be released very soon!

NFT interoperability: We believe that each metaverse can be connected through NFTs and aim to achieve NFT interoperability across games and platforms. These can be used across the whole ecosystem. With a focus on NFT interoperability, assets can be used in multiple games simultaneously, creating a whole new world of fun.

We have already collaborated with many of our partners, including Esport teams such as Team Allianz and CoinMarketCap. Hopefully, we can build this in Kucoin as well.

MBOX Chain is something we have started to work on very recently, and this will be a unique NFT POS blockchain network controlled and governed by your in-game assets. A revolutionary and carbon-neutral blockchain where NFTs collected through your in-game experience act as your node on the MOBOX blockchain network, providing users with near-instant transactions.

These are only a very small part of the big picture of MOBOX!

Q: What is the MBOX Token?

Ivan: MBOX is MOBOX's native utility token, and it can be used across a variety of things on the platform!

In-game currency: Within the games, the MBOX token facilitates in-game purchases such as acquiring additional characters, raffles, and incentives for in-game activity such as rewards for Player-versus-Player (PvP) battles.

Governance: MBOX token holders will be able to submit and vote on proposals to influence the platform's development and direction.

Liquidity mining: Users can stake in the MBOX/BNB pool on the platform or stake MOMO NFTs to earn staking rewards paid in MBOX tokens.

NFT mystery boxes: Users can stake MBOX tokens (veMBOX) for a chance to obtain unique MOMO NFT Mystery Boxes -- a raffle we hold every week.

We also have a unique burn mechanism for the MBOX token. For example, ~ 80% of all fees (NFT Marketplace) are put into an auto buyback and burn pool. This unique system calculates the average price of MBOX over 72 hours. Anytime the price falls below that, the smart contract automatically purchases MBOX tokens from DEX and burns them.

Q: What is “GameFi: Free-to-play, Play-to-earn”?

Ivan: So we initially started with the max supply of 1 billion MBOX, and I believe it has dropped to less than 760 million MBOX as a max supply now.

Our idea of GameFi answers how we can create an ecosystem that combines decentralized finance with gaming NFTS, not just to create a play-to-earn ecosystem but also free-to-play.

In simple terms, users can stake their MBOX/BNB LPs to farm MBOX tokens in the platform. Users can then stake these MBOX tokens on the platform. It also makes one eligible to enter a Mystery BOX raffle, MEC Raffle, which players use to upgrade their MOMO NFTs.

The winners of the Mystery Boxes can unlock them to find unique NFTs. These NFTs can be used across all games and stake on the platform to farm more MBOX tokens. MBOX tokens are also the main currency used across all the games, which I mentioned earlier.

The NFTs you get from the Mystery Boxes will all come with hash power, the energy used to calculate how many MBOX tokens a user can farm daily. Users can also upgrade hash power by consuming other NFTS, giving the NFTs a deflationary model and ensuring a balanced supply and demand.

Since we have also launched MOMOverse, our version of the Gameverse, users can also send their NFTs into the MOMOVerse and mine resources they can use to craft various things in the MOMOverse. Inc MOMOhome, just to name one!

Q: What are MOMOs & NFT interoperability?

Ivan: MOMOs are the name we give our NFTs, which I have mentioned earlier. These NFTs come in quantities ranging from common, uncommon, unique, rare, epic, and legendary MOMOs.

For those who have never heard of NFT interoperability, that NFTs can be used across multiple platforms and games using blockchain technology due to their verifiable uniqueness. Let me share two examples:

1. MOMO NFTs have multiple functions within the MOBOX platform. These NFTs can be staked in our smart contracts to farm MBOX tokens simultaneously across all the games on our platform. Users can also decide to trade them within our NFT marketplace or even rent them out to other users. For example, if you are an NFT investor but don't play games, you can add your NFT to the rent and lend marketplace, and gamers can rent them for a time period and fee.

2. MOBOX games support NFTs from other projects. For those familiar with PancakeSwap NFTs, you have to stake PCS NFTs on the Pancake platform to get a Pancake Profile.

We developed a way to read a user's wallet to see whether or not they have a Pancake Swap NFT staked on the Pancake platform. If they logged in and found that this user has a PCS NFT staked, we give them a corresponding NFT on the MOBOX platform to be used through the MOBOX games. The key thing here is that this gives the PCS NFT multiple utilities at the same time, without having to stake and unstake on the PCS platform, making it easier for users.

We always try to create the most utility and functionality while keeping the barrier as low as possible. Users always choose the path of less resistance, and we always keep this in mind.

That's what we hope to accomplish, whether you are a yield farmer, NFT trader, NFT investor, or a gamer. There is something for you at MOBOX!

Q: How many NFT Games have you released, and what is to come?

Ivan: We have launched four (4) NFT games on our platform: Token Master, MOMO Blockchain Brawler, ChainZ Arena MOBOX Edition, and we recently launched a tower defense game called "MOLand Defense." We have also released our MOMOverse Gameverse! That also houses loads of fun, including mini-games in it!

As mentioned, the MOMOverse is still in its early days and will vastly be improved with more content and games to add in the future.

We have a few systems coming up in terms of what is to come!

1. MOMO NFT Creator: Artists and players can create their own MOMO NFT designs. The community can then vote on which ones get added to the ecosystem. The creator of the NFTs gets a fee for each transaction/trade.

2. Game Creator: This is a set of APIs that allow other game developers to connect to the MOBOX GameFi ecosystem and use all MOMO NFTs.

We believe in building a platform with many different types of games, not just one genre.

We do not believe that there is "one game that suits all players ." Rather, we want to have a healthy ecosystem where any type of gamer can freely play and play to earn no matter what game genre they enjoy. We also believe that players who spend all their time playing games should get rewarded rightfully. There is no game, platform, or ecosystem without players and the community.

We will be launching the new METAfund Launchpad to accelerate the metaverse's growth! The launchpad will happen as the MOBOX team, and its community continues to support the growth of the metaverse through the METAfund.

Through this launchpad, selected projects will have the opportunity to launch their projects within the MOMOverse.

Q: I am interested in investing in your project. When and where can I buy your tokens? Is it already listed on exchanges?

Q: Currently, many people are looking at NFTs, metaverse, and games. Can you tell me what advantages you will have in this field's future?

Ivan: The advantages that we have is our product, I believe, the team, and our current awesome MOBOX community! We launched MOBOX 1 year ago and released 4 NFT Games, plus our MOMOVerse, including mini-games.

The team has been together for over ten (10) years in the gaming industry. It is an industry we know and excel well in!

Q: Do you have any bug bounty to check for weakness? In what way do you plan to make your project more complete?

Ivan: If you find a very vulnerable bug, you can go to mobox.io, and at the bottom right-hand corner, you can submit a ticket. Someone will get back to you shortly.

In terms of "making it more complete," we are working very hard and will continue to do so. We hired an extra 20 developers just a week ago. Our team has grown to over 50+, enabling us to push out even more content and games that all of you will hopefully enjoy.

Q: Can you briefly describe your partnership so far and upcoming partnerships?

Ivan: We are partners with many companies, namely; KuCoin, CoinMarketCap, DappRadar, Binance, and Team Alliance (Esports team).

In terms of upcoming partnerships, watch this space!

Q: Smart contracts are prone to failure, and many projects fall victim to it, costing user funds and discrediting projects. How reliable and secure are your smart contracts? Did you test it with any party?

Ivan: We believe we have one of the best smart contract coding teams in the current crypto space. We have managed to do many things with our smart contracts, such as renting/lending NFTs!

In terms of the safety of the smart contracts, we dissected each and every attack that happens in crypto to ensure we optimize our smart contracts to mitigate risks to user funds. Our smart contracts have also been certified by Certik.
