Q: Would you mind introducing the SAROS project to the community?

Ken: I think many users here recognize us as Saros DEX on Solana. We were building the DEX back in 2021, and now we found that it’s time to expand the ecosystem into a much bigger realm, which aims to provide users with a fully integrated mobile consumer application and a spectrum of functionalities in the areas of ID, DePIN, and Payment within the Solana ecosystem. Saros Super App will be the ultimate app designed to redefine your Web3 experience on Solana.

Q: Were there gaps in the crypto ecosystem? If there are, what plans does SAROS have to fill the gaps?

Ken: There’s quite a few pain points that we currently observe, which led to the decision of pivotal product shift.

Fragmented Access: There are so many DApps right now on Solana that you would love to explore, but not in 1 place, especially on your phone. You have to remember them from time to time. The Saros Super App provides an all-in-one solution, consolidating access to multiple decentralized exchanges and decentralized apps within the Solana ecosystem.

Inefficient and slow transaction processes: We are talking about direct payment from Crypto - Web2.5 is here. Saros Super App will integrate with SolanaPay, in conjunction with an in-house payment module, providing users with seamless and efficient transaction capabilities.

Limited opportunities and accessibility in the NFT market: The NFT market can be limited and exclusive. With our Super App's NFT Hub, users gain access to a wide range of NFT opportunities, including a native store and the ability to mint their own NFTs using cutting-edge AI technology.

Challenges in maintaining identity and personalization in a decentralized environment: Maintaining identity and personalization in a decentralized environment can be challenging. The Saros Super App introduces SarosID (SID), a unique identification system that enhances user experience by providing convenient and personalized identification within the decentralized ecosystem.

By addressing these pain points, the Saros Super App aims to provide users with a comprehensive and user-friendly solution for accessing decentralized exchanges, conducting efficient transactions, exploring diverse NFT opportunities, maintaining identity, and ensuring security and convenience in managing digital assets.

Q: What can Saros bring to Web3 users, builders, and the whole blockchain industry?

Ken: Saros is driven by the vision of future Solana, which will provide the users:

- the high applicable utilities with payment and many more.

Saros, more than an app, is a super app witha vision to open the Solana possibilities and transform your experience on Solana by involving the now and new users’ demands. Saros wants to make the Solana journey seamless and mesmeric for everyone from the newbies to crypto degens from registration to hands-on experiences.

Q: What future landscape have you envisioned, particularly the regulation, adoption, and technological advancements within the industry?

Ken: There are 3 main ideas that we envisioned for Saros:

Mobile is the way. We all see what Solana has been trying to pave the way with Saga, and from our point of view, it is the direction of the future. We will no longer be sitting at our desktop/laptop to enjoy the Web3 world as most of us usually do.

Web3 on the go is the keyword. And as we move towards mass adoption, payment via crypto will play a key role in the process. SolanaPay integration on the Saros Super App will do just that. Mobile + payment = the key to the future.

There will be even more DApps / protocols being built and introduced on different blockchains, especially Solana, which fits perfectly with our all-in-one philosophy, making the journey of users much more simple, whether you are a newbie or an OG.

Q: What are your future plans? Any exciting partnerships or events coming up?

Ken: I think that many users of Saros have the same question. We do have a clear idea map of what we can expect in 2024.
