    Shiba Inu (SHIB) is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token designed as a "Dogecoin killer." After DOGE, it is the second most popular meme coin in the crypto market. As of September 2023, it is among the top 10 crypto tokens held by ETH whales in their wallets.

     

    The decentralized cryptocurrency based on the Ethereum blockchain was created by anonymous developers operating under the pseudonym "Ryoshi." It launched in August 2020 and has since catapulted into the top cryptocurrencies by market cap, owing to its popularity among crypto investors. 

     

    Shiba Inu’s developers are constantly innovating and announcing new use cases for the SHIB Token. ShibaSwap is the meme coin's very own DEX, while the team also has plans of entering the worlds of metaverse and GameFi. In addition, SHIB is popularly accepted as a payment method by several online and offline businesses worldwide.
