All Time Low (ATL)

All Time Low (ATL)

Beginner

The all-time low, or ATL, represents the lowest price ever recorded for a cryptocurrency or any other financial asset. If we take Bitcoin as an example, Bitcoin’s ATL would be the lowest price it has ever traded since its launch in 2009.

The ATL can be an interesting measure of the potential of a cryptocurrency that traders must consider before investing in it. However, note that the ATL can only serve as a guide and does not guarantee that a digital asset's price will not sink to newer lows and make new ATLs in the future.
