Announcement: KuCoin System Upgrade on July 29, 2023
Dear KuCoin Users,
To provide you with a better and more stable service, KuCoin is planning a system upgrade on July 29, 2023, starting from 04:00 to 06:00 (UTC). During this upgrade, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:
- Spot Trading:
- The market movement for spot trading will be temporarily suspended from updating. The features of placing and canceling orders will be temporarily unavailable.
- Margin Trading:
- The trading features for all trading pairs in app, website, and Open API will be temporarily suspended. This includes order matching, order placing, and order cancellation.
- The notification for leverage and debt ratio will be temporarily suspended. There will be no liquidation in margin accounts.
- Users will be unable to transfer funds out of margin accounts. However, users can still add margin.
- There might be short-term instability in lending and repayment services.
- ETF:
- The trading features for all trading pairs in app, website, and Open API will be temporarily suspended. This includes order matching, order placing, and order cancellation. Subscription and redemption features will be closed in advance at 07:00:00 (UTC) on July 28, 2023.
- Futures Trading:
- The market movement for futures trading will be temporarily suspended from updating. All futures-related features, including order matching, order placement, order cancellation, stop profit, stop loss, and adding margin, will be unavailable in app, website, and Open API.
- Trading Bot:
- The trading bot page will be temporarily inaccessible. Users will not be able to create new bots or close existing bots. Additionally, the features of placing and canceling orders, as well as performing transactions via running bots, will be temporarily suspended.
- Convert:
- The Convert service will be temporarily unavailable.
- KuCoin Social:
- The KuCoin Social page will be temporarily inaccessible.
- Buying Crypto and Fiat Deposit & Withdrawal:
- Features such as buying crypto with a bank card, fiat deposit and withdrawal, trading crypto via balance, and third-party purchases will be temporarily unavailable.
This upgrade will not affect the safety of your account assets. If you hold any positions before or during the upgrade, please assess and control the risks in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and assure you that our team will work diligently to complete the upgrade and restore normal services as soon as possible. Your understanding and patience are highly appreciated.
The expected duration of this system upgrade might vary from the actual time required. If there are any changes, we will issue an announcement.
