KuCoin will be launching the 24th Spotlight token sale with Mechaverse (MC) on September 5, 2022 (UTC). The MC token sale will operate using the proportional distribution model.

Spotlight Token Sale Details (Subscription Ended): (Trade Now)

1. Token Name: Mechaverse (MC)
2. Spotlight Hard Cap: 600,000 USD
3. Spotlight Allocation: 6,000,000 MC
4. Spotlight Token Sale Price: 1 MC = 0.1 USD
5. Token Supported: KuCoin Token (KCS) Only
6. Price Ratio: The actual price ratio of KCS will be announced on the day of the Token Sale
7. Token Sale Format: Proportional Distribution Model (PDM)
8. Spotlight Token Distribution: 50% will be distributed on the Token Generation Event (TGE), then 50% will be distributed in the second month (before the 25th of that month).
9. Total Token Supply: 200,000,000 MC
10. Initial Circulating Supply: 3,000,000 MC

How to Participate

1. Basic Rule: From 12:00:00 on September 5 to 00:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC), participants must have an average daily KCS holdings of at least 10 KCS, where their final allocation of the new token is determined by the portion of their average daily KCS holdings against the total average daily KCS holdings by all participating users.
2. Spot Trading Buff: From 12:00:00 on September 2 - 16:00:00 on September 6, 2022 (UTC), participants’ Spot trading volume on KCS, FT, SOL, MATIC, ATOM, AVAX, OP, NEAR, DOT, FLOW will be calculated as Spot Trading Buff, which will increase the KCS holdings exponentially.
3. FT Holding Buff: From 12:00:00 on September 5 to 00:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC), participants who have an average holding amount of at least 30 FT (23th Spotlight project), their KCS holdings will multiply 110% in addition.

To ensure a fair allocation for all participants, there will be a set hard cap for the token allocation per user.

2. Token Sale Subscription End Time: 00:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC)

* Hard Cap: The max number of tokens you will receive.

The Shares of Qualified Users Will Receive

(User’s KCS holdings * Spot Trading Buff / Total KCS holdings with Spot Trading Buff of all participants) * Total Spotlight Allocation (6,000,000 MC)

* If participants’ average FT (23rd Spotlight project) holding amount is more than 30, the shares will multiply *110%.

According to the tokens which participants trade, KuCoin will calculate the trading volume with different coefficients:

💰 Daily KCS Holdings:

From 12:00:00 on September 5, 2022 to 00:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC), KuCoin will randomly take a snapshot of each user's KCS holdings (for detailed calculation rules, click here) on that day (2 snapshots in total). From the snapshot, each user’s daily KCS holdings will be determined.

🚀 Spot Trading Buff:

KuCoin will calculate participants’ Spot trading volume on KCS, FT, SOL, MATIC, ATOM, AVAX, OP, NEAR, DOT, FLOW from 12:00:00 on September 2, 2022 to 16:00:00 on September 6, 2022 (UTC). From the Spot trading volume on the appointed tokens, each user's Spot Trading Buff will be determined.

🎆 FT Holding Buff:

From 12:00:00 on September 5, 2022 to 00:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC), KuCoin will randomly take a snapshot of each user's FT holdings on that day (2 snapshots in total). From the snapshot, each user who has an average holding amount of at least 30 FT (23rd Spotlight project) will enjoy the buff.

*Sub-accounts can’t participate in the token sale as an independent account. However, the KCS holdings and Spot trading volume in the Sub-accounts will be combined into the Master account for the calculation of the Average Daily KCS Balance and total Spot trading volume.

Spotlight Token Sale Timeline:

1. Spotlight Launch - 12:00:00 on September 2, 2022 (UTC): KuCoin will launch the Pre-Spotlight Token Sale - Spot Trading Buff Period: 12:00:00 on September 2 - 16:00:00 on September 6, 2022 (UTC)
2. Subscription Start - 12:00:00 on September 5, 2022 (UTC): KuCoin will launch the Spotlight Token Sale and open the subscription for MC.
3. Subscription End - 00:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC): KuCoin will end this round of token sale registrations, counting the shares of all successfully registered participants.
4. Token Deduction/Distribution Period - From 08:00:00 to 09:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC): KuCoin will deduct the corresponding amount of KCS in the qualified users’ Trading Account and distribute the corresponding amount of MC. We highly encourage you to have at least 20 KCS in your Trading Account on September 7, 2022. If the deduction is successful, the MC will be distributed immediately to your Main Account; otherwise, your eligibility to purchase in the Spotlight will be lost.
5. Market Opening - 12:00:00 on September 7, 2022 (UTC)

To participate in the token sale, your KuCoin account needs to meet the following criteria:

1. Complete KYC2 (Advanced Verification) before 00:00:00 on September 7, 2022. If you fail to pass KYC2, then you will not be eligible for the token sale subscription.
2. The following countries/areas are not supported for the purchase: Albania, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic People's Repubic of Korea, United States of America, Eritea, Hati, Singapore, Iran, Jamaica, Lybia, Canada, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Panama, Senegal, Somalia, South sudan, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Lebanon, Venezuela, Crimea.
3. Purchase Agreement Signed.
4. After completing the steps above, make sure to click the ‘Participate Now’ button on the Spotlight page.
