Accenture's Q1 FY'25 Revenue Hits $17.7B, Surpassing Expectations

This growth was driven by consulting and managed services, with consulting revenues at $9.0 billion and managed services at $8.6 billion. The company's operating income rose to $2.95 billion, reflecting a 15% increase from the previous year. Accenture's strategic focus on client reinvention and investment in its business contributed to these results. New bookings for the quarter were $18.7 billion, with $1.2 billion from generative AI. Accenture also increased its quarterly cash dividend by 15% to $1.48 per share and repurchased 2.5 million shares for $898 million. The company's performance exceeded market expectations, with a GAAP EPS of $3.59, surpassing the expected $3.42. Accenture updated its fiscal 2025 outlook, raising revenue growth expectations to 4%-7% in local currency.
