KuCoin Will Support the Filecoin (FIL) Network Upgrade

Dear KuCoin Users, 

KuCoin will support the Filecoin (FIL) network upgrade.

The arrangements are as follows:

1. The Filecoin (FIL) network upgrade and a hard fork will take place at epoch 2,683,348, or approximately at 15:14:00 on March 14, 2023 (UTC).

2. Due to the Filecoin (FIL) network upgrade and hard fork, we have decided to suspend the deposit and withdrawal services for mainnet Filecoin (FIL) tokens.

3. The deposit and withdrawal services of all mainnet Filecoin (FIL) tokens will be suspended at 14:30:00 on March 14, 2023 (UTC). We strongly recommend not to deposit and withdraw until the upgrade is completed.

Please note:

1. The network upgrade and hard fork will not affect the trading of the mainnet Filecoin (FIL) tokens.

2. The Filecoin (FIL) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at epoch 2,683,348. The estimated time is for users’ reference only.

3. The Filecoin (FIL) network upgrade and hard fork will not result in new tokens being created.

4. Regarding further developments on when these services have been restored, we will not notify users in a further announcement.
