KuCoin Now Supports Self-service Enhanced Due Diligence(EDD) for SEPA Transactions
Dear KuCoin Users,
We are pleased to inform you that KuCoin now supports self-submission of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) information for SEPA transactions. If you have a SEPA transaction that requires the submission of EDD information, you can now self-submit it through KuCoin's SEPA top-up or withdrawal page.
Note: Until June 7th, EDD submissions will only be processed through the SEPA top-up or withdrawal on the KuCoin Web platform. Subsequently, after June 7th, users can seamlessly submit their EDD via the KuCoin App.
1. What is EDD?
In order to comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, KuCoin is required to perform a Source of Wealth and Source of Funds review on certain accounts. This is a standard and common compliance practice. Upon completion of the EDD, you will enjoy a more efficient SEPA top-up and withdrawal service.
2. How to determine whether you need to submit EDD information?
(1) When you receive an EDD reminder from a KuCoin official (email or message);
(2) When you see a prompt that you need to complete EDD on the KuCoin EUR top-up/withdrawal page;
(3) When your order has not been processed for more than 2 working days, please do the above checks.
Thank you very much for your continued support of KuCoin, please understand the inconvenience caused to you.
Thanks for your support!
The KuCoin Team
