Announcement on the KuCoin Temporary Access Issue on March 11, 2021
Dear KuCoin Users,
At around 13:30 (UTC) on March 11, 2021, we noticed a big surge in traffic brought about by the market moves and some competitions on KuCoin. As a result, it has caused some issues on a few CDN nodes of our cloud computing service partner AWS, leading to the access issue of the KuCoin website and app in some regions.
As soon as the issue was detected, we got in touch with the AWS team immediately to implement a more efficient CDN service strategy, completely solving the access issue and resuming all services at about 17:30 (UTC) on March 11, 2021.
In response to any short-term surge in traffic that may occur in the future, we will improve the monitoring and emergency response system to ensure the availability of our services.
