KuCoin Security Update for Dynamic IP Addresses

Dear KuCoin users

We recently found a number of phishing websites pretending to be KuCoin. Logging in to these sites may cause a serious threat to the security of your account.

Because of this, KuCoin has upgraded our Security Policy as we do our best to improve the security standards of operation. One of the key upgrades to this Security Policy is an enhanced sensitivity to the IP addresses of our users. When a user logs into the system on a new IP address, the session on the previous IP address will be logged out automatically. To ensure that you have continuous access to KuCoin, please make sure that your IP address does not change for at least 30 minutes per session.

If you encounter getting logged out or failing the two-step verification several times, we suggest checking if your IP address automatically changes. You may do so with the help of IP Checker (http://ip-check.info/?Lang=en). If you notice that your IP address does change, please contact your network operator to request that your IP address remain static for at least 30 minutes at a time. Alternatively, you can also access KuCoin while using a VPN or proxy server.
