KuCoin to Support USDT-TRON And USDT-ERC20
Dear KuCoin Users,
KuCoin will be supporting TRC20-based USDT Tokens (USDT-TRON) and ERC20-based USDT Tokens (USDT-ERC20) from early May. Following this, KuCoin users will be able to deposit and withdraw USDT in three forms: USDT-Omni, USDT-TRON and USDT-ERC20.
To ensure that users can freely choose their favored forms of USDT to deposit and withdraw at any time, KuCoin will exchange three forms of USDT in advance to ensure adequate balance of these 3 forms of USDT. If you do not agree to the exchange, please do not deposit or withdraw USDT. If you continue to do so, you are deemed to have agreed to the relevant treatment. If you have any questions, please send an email to business@kucoin.com. If you do not receive a notice of disapproval within 3 days of the announcement, you are deemed to have agreed to the relevant treatment.
In addition, KuCoin will support the USDT-TRON incentive plan (USDT-TRON airdrop). The campaign page will be launched before May 6th on KuCoin. Users can participate in the event through KuCoin in order to obtain the USDT-TRON token to be paid by TRON. Users holding USDT-Omni and USDT-ERC20 can also apply for the conversion to USDT-TRON via KuCoin to obtain the incentive.
Notes:
- USDT-Omni is the USDT issued by Tether based on the BTC network. The currency deposit address is the BTC address, with deposits and withdrawals taking place on the BTC network. The protocol used by USDT-Omni is the Omni layer protocol built on the BTC blockchain network.
