After my last article, I saw that some of our users were expressing some concerns and questioning our roadmap going forward. I also received information that some users do not believe that I am writing these articles.
First, I would like to confirm that I do have a writing assistant, as my written English isn’t perfect; however, all of these thoughts are mine. I am involved in these articles 100% and dictate everything to my writer.
I want to address some of the complaints regarding our roadmap. I know that we have fallen behind with our platform 2.0 and people are complaining, along with some other issues. We did release the new design of our homepage, including the KuCoin Plus Trading Area which is part of the new platform, however.
The reason for these delays is that we have been very busy working on building some key partnerships which we will announce to you in the coming weeks, and I know this will be much more beneficial to our users.
We have also been working on some valuable features, which we could achieve faster than finishing the building of the new platform. One of these being the KCS bonus upgrade, which is one of the features that was not due to be released until next month. We will still be adding more KCS features next month, as well. We also published our new official Facebook page again, and we started our upgraded token voting competition on Telegram.
These upgrades have been very well received by our users as far as I can see. We will update our roadmap with more precise dates and objectives in late August so that you can see our plan.
Now, I would like to address some of your concerns that have been brought to my attention. I know that users have complained about the quality of English on our website and the emails that you receive.
We have hired a team of native English speakers to go through our website, and we are making updates daily to correct our mistakes. Please understand that this takes some time, but we are receiving updates daily and correcting them as soon as they come in.
I have also heard that some users have said that we have failed to distribute rewards in 72 hours as previously promised. I can assure you, from this day forward, we will deliver on this promise unless all of our wallet engineers are in the hospital or go missing. We will be observing internally for the next few months to make sure everything is working as it should be.
Another concern that I have heard frequently is that users want the stop/loss feature. Our product team has already completed the design. However, the RD team has limited bandwidth. So, unfortunately, at this time, I cannot guarantee a release date for when this feature will be added.
The last thing that I would like to address is the complaints about the ONT airdrop. I want to confirm that this will occur within the next three weeks. Please follow the KuCoin official announcements during this time for further updates.
I will continue these articles in the future when I have information to share with you, in order to maintain transparency and make any clarifications necessary. We are doing our best to continue with the roadmap in a timely manner. In the coming weeks, I will be making some major announcements regarding the partnerships that we are building.
Thank you for your loyal support—helping us keep KuCoin as “The People’s Exchange.”
Sincerely,
Michael Gan
