KuCoin Will Cease the Trading Service for the VI/USDT Trading Pair

Dear KuCoin Users，

Per request from the Vid (VI) project team, KuCoin will cease the trading service for VI/USDT.

Please take note of the following schedule:

• KuCoin will continue to support the withdrawal service for Vid (VI) until 23:59:59 on December 25, 2020 (UTC+8).
• The VI/USDT trading pair will be closed at 23:59:59 on September 25, 2020 (UTC+8). For better management of your funds, we recommend that you cancel your pending orders of VI/USDT as soon as possible.

Main factors contributing to the closing of VI/USDT trading service:

• Existing VI token holders will have two options to deal with their VI assets 1) Withdraw VI to your wallet and swap to new VI tokens; 2) Sell VI tokens
• Staking on Pool-X will remain active for the old token until 23:59:59 on September 30, 2020 (UTC+8). The redemption period of the VI-Staking product has been changed to 0 days, meaning users can now redeem their staked VI from Pool-X immediately. Go to Pool-X
• VI rewards from the ‘KuCoin 3rd Anniversary Carnival’ will be distributed by USDT, the price ratio will be based on the average of ever hourly open price from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 on Sep 23, 2020 (UTC+8).
• All trade orders will be automatically removed after trading ceases for the VI/USDT trading pair.
