Scheduled KuCoin Trading System Upgrade on August 16 

Dear KuCoin users,

To provide better trading services for our valued users, KuCoin will perform a scheduled system upgrade starting at 2022-08-16 06:30:00 AM (UTC). The upgrade will take approximately 1 hour. 

During this period, the following services will be affected:  

1. Spot and KuCoin Futures

* KuCoin will suspend the following services： 

Order-matching, order placing, order cancelling (all trading pairs on Web, App and Open API)  

Futures Brawl, Order book and Candle line  

* Other services will be unstable temporarily. 

2. Margin

* KuCoin will suspend all trading pairs on Web, App and Open API, including the order-matching, order placing, order cancelling.  

* Margin debt ratio notification will be suspended, and the liquidation of the Margin account will not be processed.  

* The asset transfers will not be available between the Margin account and other accounts. 

* The Borrowing and Lending service will be unstable temporarily. 

3. Leveraged Tokens  

* KuCoin will suspend all trading pairs on Web, App and Open API, including the order-matching, order placing, order cancelling. 

* Subscribe and redeem service will be suspended at 2022-08-15 07:00:00 AM (UTC).   

4. Trading Bot 

The Trading Bot will not provide services and the running robots will be suspended.  

5. The Convert, Fast Trade, P2P and Third-party payment will not provide service. 

6. KYC, Deposit and Withdrawal service will be unstable temporarily. 

7. The display of Assets, Markets and Discover will be temporarily affected. 

10 minutes will be reserved to open the cancellation function before the end of upgrading. To avoid possible risks, you may enable the “take profit/stop loss features”.  

Once the cancellation function is activated, we will notify by announcement as soon as possible, please pay close attention.  

Notice：  

1. If a large price fluctuation occurs, we will postpone the upgrade accordingly and notify you via the announcement.  

2. To avoid possible risks, users of KuCoin Futures may enable the “Auto-Deposit Margin” feature or close positions in advance.  

3. During the upgrade period, order placing, order canceling, and order dealing will be suspended. Take profit/stop loss orders may be dealt with after the upgrade. Please cancel your orders in the Futures Market to avoid losses that may be caused by violent market fluctuations.  

Before the upgrade, please control the debt ratio well in advance to avoid the risk of liquidation caused by the high debt ratio at the end of upgrading. 10 minutes will be reserved to add the collateral in the Margin account before the end of upgrading. You can reduce the debt ratio by transferring funds to your Margin Account.
