Statement Regarding Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Hard Fork

Dear KuCoin Users

Bitcoin Cash will hard fork on November 16th, 2018 around 00:40:00 (UTC+8) as part of a scheduled protocol upgrade. We suggest that you deposit your BCH into KuCoin, as we will be handling all the technical requirements involved for all users holding BCH.

To ensure the smooth release of the proceedings of the hard fork, our snapshot plan is as follows:

1. Deposits, Withdrawals and Trading Services of BCH will be suspended at 23:00:00 on November 15th, 2018 (UTC+8).
2. We will take a snapshot of all BCH balances at 00:40:00 on November 16th, 2018, (UTC+8).

Note: During the suspension period, BCH deposits will not be credited to your KuCoin wallet.

KuCoin has prepared a response plan for Bitcoin SV or Bitcoin ABC:

1. If Bitcoin SV or Bitcoin ABC successfully fork, we will offer a 1:1 airdrop to users based on the BCH assets snapshotted.
2. If Bitcoin SV or Bitcoin ABC fail to fork, we will re-open the depositing and withdrawal after the MainNet resumes stable operation.
