The Official Statement on Fraud Regarding the Issue that Criminals Pretending to be KuCoin Business Team
Dear KuCoin Users,
Recently, the KuCoin Group has been informed that the criminals impersonate KuCoin’s listing team and contact you via Telegram or other social channels. The scammers may use the same or similar team member name to trick the project team to sign the fake listing agreements and letting them transfer digital assets to a specific scam deposit address.
The KuCoin Group hereby declares and clarifies:
1. The KuCoin Group has never authorized any third-party listing agent/team to use any email address to contact the project team, the listing team will NOT send the formal listing agreement by the email address domain as @kucoin.com.
2. To prevent any frauds in the name of KuCoin, you can verify our employees' authenticity via the KuCoin Official Media Verification tool: https://kucoin.com/cert
