Q&A from KuCoin
Niels: Hi there all, it's a pleasure to be here.
Looking forward to answering all questions and thanks for having me.
Q: What is FortKnoxster?
Niels: FortKnoxster is the world's most secure messenger with an integrated wallet and other great features.
We have built an extremely secure military encrypted messenger app, which integrates with the blockchain. Besides private messaging, it also contains a range of other features like a non-custodial wallet, file storage, inbox, calling, video calling, screen sharing, and much more. All are end-to-end encrypted and as secure as it gets. We call it the Crypto Suite. You can even send or receive coins and tokens directly in the chat, it’s pretty cool. Our app can be used both on smartphones and as a web app. And it can be used for both private use and business use.
Q: Why is it so secure compared to other messenger apps?
Niels: Great question!
FortKnoxster uses strong military-grade encryption with advanced blockchain technology and zero-knowledge principles to protect all business communications, data, documents, etc.
All calls, messages, and files sent and received in FortKnoxster are end-to-end encrypted by default. When you create a FortKnoxster account, several cryptographic key pairs are generated on your local device to encrypt and decrypt messages and files. The private keys are protected with encryption keys derived from your password which is only known to you and nobody else. When you connect with your contacts or other FortKnoxster users you exchange public keys securely, so that this person can encrypt messages to you and decrypt messages from you.
FortKnoxster uses a zero-knowledge authentication scheme in which the user’s password never leaves the user’s device, keeping you in control of your private keys and confidential security information. FortKnoxster never transmits or stores passwords in plain text, as these are protected with a hash-based encryption for zero-knowledge authentication.
Q: How did you get the idea to launch FortKnoxster?
Niels: We are always so full of ideas.
As experienced IT entrepreneurs, we were always looking for new ways to disrupt or make things better. We kept noticing all the headlines regarding hacks, data breaches, crypto crimes, surveillance, phishing attacks, and other cybercrimes. After analyzing other apps and platforms, we quickly identified a gap in the market, as nobody had developed a one-stop encryption app with all the features one needs, so we decided to help fix the problem. We help both private people and businesses secure their communications and digital currencies. (And we do not sell any data to 3. Parties like most other apps, actually we can’t see any data at all!)
We don’t even have people’s passwords or other info.
Q: Why do you think privacy and cybersecurity suddenly received such massive attention?
Niels: Let me answer that in 2 answers please.
Privacy:
Back in the old days, privacy was a default thing in our lives and hence taken for granted by most people, one could even say it was a basic human right. Nowadays, unfortunately, this has changed a lot. There are approximately 4 billion smartphone users in the world and these all browse the Internet, downloading free apps like Facebook and alike. By using all these free services, you totally give up your privacy and are under constant 24/7 surveillance. As the saying goes: “There is no free lunch” – in this case, all your communications, calls, chats, pictures, etc. are sold to the highest bidder, hence it is “free to use”. If it’s free – you are the product!
Our business model is exactly the opposite, it comes with default privacy and we have absolutely no way of accessing data or communications – nor has a hacker or other hostile third parties...
and Cybersecurity:
Let me start by quoting IBM’s chairman, Ginni Rometty:
“Cybercrime is the greatest threat to every company in the world – and the threat only continues to grow.”
Cybersecurity – or lack of – is one of the biggest threats to businesses and governments. Hackers are always ahead, and they are getting more and more sophisticated and skilled. There is a hacker attack every 39 seconds, and most people or companies who are getting hacked do not even notice, as the hackers just compromise you and steal or copy what they need. Many claim that future wars are not fought with bombs and missiles, but by hacking i.e. power plants and blowing them up, causing death and chaos. Just read the recent headlines, unfortunately, this is happening more and more...
So, to summarize, privacy and cybersecurity concerns every human being and any business in the world, and FortKnoxster is the perfect app to safeguard both people and businesses.
Q: What is the token utility for Knoxstercoin (FKX)?
Niels: Great. Our ecosystem is centered around Knoxstercoin - FKX.
People and businesses can use part of our offerings for free as we operate on the so-called Freemium business model. Meanwhile, all PRO features are charged in FKX, meaning we have created the perfect utility case for our coin. People who want to upgrade need to own what’s equal to 99.00 FKX/USDT to be able to upgrade and get PRO features, like unlimited storage and video calls.
We also offer a staking model, meaning if you keep FKX in our built-in custodial wallet, (and it stays there) you are not charged for the PRO features and you even get a 5% ROI per year.
We also have a few more ideas to enhance our future tokenomics, but they are still on the drawing board.
Q: But isn't your app the same as Telegram, Signal, or alike?
Niels: Not really - actually some call us "Telegram on steroids"! Let me explain...
We offer a lot more features than our fine colleagues, most of them only have chat and calling, we have gone all the way and besides blockchain integration, we have built features like file storage, wallet, video calling, inbox, etc. into FortKnoxster, it's a true crypto suite. Furthermore, our encryption and security are outstanding compared to other services.

Free-Ask from KuCoin Community
Q: FortKnoxster has all-in-one private and secure messaging, calling, crypto wallet and cloud storage worldwide for everyone, including businesses. Are all those included in one application or different applications? You need a good team and maximum level of security system for all those features and applications. Is all our data and funds secure?
Niels: Great question. FortKnoxster is all in one app and you can use it both on mobile and as a web app..
Q: Why did you choose the name FortKnoxster for this project?
Niels: Fort Knox is the safest place on earth (or was) as the US stored their gold reserves there back in the days.
Q: What are the marketing strategies of your FKX token project? What will you do so that your project will be visible in the crypto field and people come to explore your project?
Niels: One of our biggest challenges is to get known out there and we are very focused on marketing and influencer partnerships moving forward. We have approximately 4 billion potential users out there.
Q: When I was researching your project I saw an interesting feature in your website and that is Chat and transfer. Can you tell me how crypto can be transferred in the chat? Is it 100% safe? Can people scam others with this feature?
Niels: Yes, it is safe. By leveraging FortKnoxster’s existing encryption algorithms (for securing and verifying the identity of the sender and receiver when exchanging messages and public keys with your contacts), it makes it possible to also exchange your wallet addresses securely on the same encrypted channel.
Q: Do you offer any way to contribute to your project like bug bounty for a community-driven project?
Niels: Yes, we do. Check out our website:
Q: There is fierce competition in the finance industry. Obviously, there are other projects that look like you. How will you deal with your rivals?
Niels: There is space for all of us as this market is HUGE. We still have not identified anyone with the same and many features like FortKnoxster:
Q: How do you handle BTC breakdown in your token?
Niels: We do not have any opinion on market ups and downs.
Q: In my research I found FortKnoxster is all in one. It contains Messenger, Wallet, Storage, Video Calls – and much more. It sounds really good. But my concern is does all these things make it much heavier and difficult to use? Is it smoothly running on all kinds of devices? And is it difficult to use?
Niels: Actually, it makes it much easier, as all your communication and storage needs are combined in one app only, and not multiple apps. Besides, FortKnoxster is created with usability in mind.
It doesn’t slow down performance, in fact you can chat and reply inbox messages while on video call, no problem.
Q: Everyone loves security and transparency! FortKnoxster is a great project providing these services to us. But asking out of curiosity, could you please let us know about the authoritative members of FortKnoxster?
Niels: Please check our website:
Q: In exchange and wallet, we have to provide them with our private keys. It’s always a problem, so much unsecure. We do not have full control of our funds. Can FortKnoxster provide us full control over our funds? Or is it also like them? And do I need any KYC to use FortKnoxster?
Niels: Great question. Our wallet (which will be live soon) is a non-custodial wallet so no KYC needed at all - it's as easy to use as the rest of the safe features in the FortKnoxster platform.
Q: Please provide us with the tokenomics of your project? What are the main token use cases and utilities?
Niels: Very relevant question! For PRO upgrades and staking also, read more here:
Q: Do you currently have any ongoing program to build your community and ensure that your community is carried along in your plans and development?
Niels: Yes we have and next week we’ll launch some interesting campaigns to get even more awareness and engagement.
Q: Do you think FKX is a good one for those of us who are interested in long-term investment?
Niels: Yes.
Q: What are the great achievements that your project has achieved so far? What difficulties and risks did you encounter during project implementation and what factors helped motivate you to overcome difficulties?
Niels: The development of this platform is a great achievement as nobody has done the same and we are proud of that to be honest. The course: privacy and security for all is our motivation, number 1!
Q: How did FortKnoxster improve 256-bit AES encryption against tampering and cyber risks? Is this encryption technique 100 percent secure and how is it different from other encryption types? How do you protect our data against the risk of third-party access? Will everything stay safe?
Niels: FortKnoxster uses AES-GCM 256 bit encryption, AES GCM is an AEAD (Authenticated Encryption with Associated Data) which is an authenticated encryption algorithm that also ensures integrity protecting against tampering and hacks. Besides, all encrypted messages received are verified cryptographically to ensure the sender can be trusted.
Secondly, FortKnoxster does not have access to your personal password nor your private keys, and therefore we can't access your data, only you can access and nobody else. For more details please check our security page:
Q: Will FortKnoxster do some kind of staking? I think that would be a good idea for upgrading features or so?
Niels: yes!
