#WomenInCrypto KuCoin 2023 Survey: Can the Crypto Market Onboard More Women Investors?

Cryptos are fast gaining acceptance as a legitimate and attractive asset class for investing worldwide. The ease of entry among an increasingly tech-savvy user base eager to take on risks and make it big has made crypto assets a trending financial instrument to trade or hold.

But one thing that especially sets the crypto market apart from the traditional financial markets is the sheer number of women investors. According to a TechCrunch report, anywhere between 15% and 55% of users on crypto exchanges are women. With more women entering the workforce and taking care of their finances themselves, this number is likely to grow even higher in the coming years as crypto goes mainstream.

Did you know that women are making waves in the crypto industry? It's true! Despite the male-dominated image of the traditional financial markets, women are starting to carve out their own space in the world of crypto.

According to a recent survey conducted by KuCoin, women are showing great potential for driving the development of web3. The survey revealed that females are more likely to participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) projects and are more likely to hold digital assets for the long term.

In fact, the survey found that women in crypto are more likely to hold their digital assets for more than one year, with 53.2% of female respondents reporting a holding period of over a year. That's impressive, considering the volatility of the crypto market.
