As reported by Coinpedia, the Ethereum Foundation has conducted its first Ether sale of 2025, exchanging 100 ETH for $329,463 in DAI. This move aims to fund research and development efforts amid a period of low demand from whale investors. Despite short-term bearish trends, Ethereum's price is showing potential for a major bullish breakout. The Foundation, a Swiss-based non-profit, holds digital assets worth approximately $914 million, primarily in ETH and WETH. In 2024, it sold 4,466 ETH for $12.61 million in stablecoins. The demand for Ethereum by institutional investors has been relatively low compared to Bitcoin, with US spot Ether ETFs experiencing a net cash outflow of $86 million recently. Ethereum's price is forming a macro bullish continuation pattern, although bears currently dominate the daily market.
