As reported by CryptoPotato, MicroStrategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, has continued its acquisition strategy by purchasing an additional 2,136 BTC for $209 million. This brings the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 446,400 BTC, acquired at an average price of $62,428 per Bitcoin. The latest purchase was announced by co-founder Michael Saylor on December 30, 2024, at an average price of $97,834 per BTC. Despite Bitcoin's recent price drop to $93,000, MicroStrategy's holdings are valued at $41.5 billion, resulting in an unrealized profit of over $13 billion. Notably, Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff has criticized the purchase, suggesting it won't significantly impact Bitcoin's price.
