Spot Bitcoin ETFs Surpass Satoshi Holdings with $2.35B Weekly Inflows

As reported by ZyCrypto, US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have collectively surpassed Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin holdings, now holding over 1.1 billion BTC. The 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs on US exchanges have accumulated 1,104,354 BTC since their January launch, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin ETF leading with 521,375 BTC. This makes BlackRock the third-largest Bitcoin holder. Spot Bitcoin ETFs now hold $109 billion in assets, representing 5.57% of Bitcoin’s market cap. This week, inflows reached $2.35 billion, marking the second-highest level since January. On December 5, inflows hit $766M, with BlackRock’s IBIT contributing $770M. Ethereum ETFs also saw significant inflows, reaching $752M for the week. Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas noted that BlackRock’s IBIT reached $50 billion in 228 days, a record pace. Bitcoin's price, however, dropped 2% to $93,787.
