Why are Celestia’s longs under pressure?

The price drop left Celestia [TIA] longs bleeding. According to CoinGlass, over $2 million in long positions were liquidated. These forced closures added selling pressure as traders’ bullish bets unraveled.

Over the same period, Open Interest dropped 23% to $136 million, while Derivatives Volume fell 52% to $684 million.

Falling Open Interest alongside declining prices pointed to positions closing. The Long Liquidations confirmed that some bullish traders faced forced exits.

Together, these readings suggested a retreat from derivatives exposure as the post-rally pullback deepened.

Are Celestia’s dip buyers stepping up?

Interestingly, Spot activity told a different story.

Delta surged to 3.9 million, its highest since September 2025, according to CoinAnk. Positive Delta indicated that aggressive buy volume exceeded aggressive sell volume.

Meanwhile, Spot Netflow fell to −$2.3 million on the 17th of October and remained negative at press time.

More TIA left tracked exchanges than entered them, potentially reducing the supply available for immediate selling.

Positive Delta supported the dip-buying argument, while Exchange Outflows showed withdrawals. Together, they suggested buyers were responding to the decline.

Even so, TIA’s continued losses showed that buying had yet to stabilize the price.

Can Celestia’s price hold $0.60?

Despite emerging Spot demand, Celestia’s bullish momentum weakened. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) formed a bearish crossover and dropped to 61, signaling fading upward momentum.

However, its position above 50 suggested buyers retained some momentum advantage, despite the sharp price decline.

Further selling could drag the RSI lower and put $0.60 support under pressure. A break below could expose $0.52.

If Spot demand absorbed the selling, TIA could hold $0.60 and attempt to reclaim $0.70. For dip buyers, defending support would offer the first evidence that their buying was slowing the decline.

Final Summary

  • Celestia fell 15% as Long Liquidations exceeded $2 million and Open Interest contracted.
  • Spot buying offered some support, but TIA still needed to defend $0.60 to limit further downside.
