BlockBeats report: On October 20, during a fireside chat at the "Invest in Germany Summit" in Berlin, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that every company in the future will have two factories: one physical factory and one digital factory (digital twin). The digital twin will be so realistic that it will be nearly indistinguishable from the actual factory; most people will work within their company’s digital twin, designing products with digital brains, while AI-powered robots manufacture them in fully automated factories.
Jensen Huang pointed out that the next wave of AI is physical AI—intelligence that interacts with the physical world, encompassing robotics, manufacturing, automotive, and heavy industry. He also emphasized that “electrons will never replace atoms,” and that digital technologies will not supplant expertise in electromechanical and manufacturing domains; instead, AI will enhance these capabilities.
