Aspecta is launching something new—Futures Beta. Today’s first asset is @BitwayOfficial—$BTW is really impressive. Those who participated earlier mostly sold out too soon and missed out on a fortune. Unlike typical perpetual contracts, Aspecta Futures doesn’t have liquidation. Instead, it uses a 30-day settlement contract for long and short positions. For the first 30 days, trading and pre-settlement are allowed with no funding fees. After November 19, when the official settlement phase begins, trading continues, but unfulfilled long settlement requests may incur funding fees. What’s most noteworthy is the absence of liquidation. For example, if you hold tokens that haven’t yet vested and can’t be sold, but want to hedge by shorting early, a regular perpetual contract could get liquidated if the price spikes suddenly. You’d end up losing your hedge position before even being able to sell your spot holdings—this is a real headache. While this mechanism might take some time to understand if you’re simply speculating on price movements, for users with actual token exposure who genuinely need to hedge their short positions, avoiding forced liquidation is a highly practical advantage. @aspecta_ai This model isn’t just for Pre-Market—later, it could easily extend to memes, altcoins, and RWA assets as well.
